Players will need to purchase the upgrade Alternate Exits in order to gain access to the Infernal Gates, though after this players will need to have their Heat settings up in order to actually access the Infernal Gates. There are a couple of things that players must do in order to unlock an Infernal Gate. Players will always have three choices for exits when they finish an Erebus Encounter. The Infernal Gate will require players to fight Super-Elite enemies and will require players to fight them all off without taking any damage, meaning that Boons like Athena’s dash protect will feel very important for battles like these.Īs soon as players take a single hit of damage the challenge will end and players will get a gag reward instead of the reward they were aiming for. The Infernal Gate is very similar to Chaos’ Gate, teleporting players to another area of the world, though unlike the Chaos Gate, players will have to fight for their reward, though admittedly not risking their lives or a failed attempt at an Escape. ![]() I, personally, was a player who ended up unlocking the Infernal Gate fairly early as I wanted to learn it’s mechanics and let me tell you that it is truly a difficult feat, even with some of the best Boons. The reality is that players can access the Infernal Gate too early, essentially meaning that a player will either find them too difficult or will not be able to make use of all of it’s benefits until they are able to complete harder Heats. The Infernal Gate is quite a late-game mechanic that players can either choose to utilize or ignore. ![]()
